Legend
Jana Ambrožič-Dolinšek, PhD, is a full professor of botany at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and the Faculty of Education at the University of Maribor. Her lecture topics are plant physiology, plant biotechnology and the natural sciences of biology. Her research interests include: development of in vitro methods for propagation, protection and conservation of horticulturally important, rare, protected or endangered species (Hladnikia pastinacifolia, Apium repens, Berula erecta), phytoremediation potential of plants in tissue culture, biotechnological cultivation of algae, development of educational strategies in the field of plant biology and socio-scientific aspects of modern biotechnology. She is involved in the international project "Cultural and Natural Science Literacy" (CNL) and the pilot project ZELEN.COM, both of which are related to climate change.
