Biography
Dr. Aleš Trunk received his doctorate in 2018 at the University of Primorska, Faculty of Management in the field of economics, on the subject of international reinsurance systems and the labor market. He also completed a bachelor's degree in management and a master's degree in economics and finance at the same faculty. He is employed as a university teacher and researcher at International School for Social and Business Studies Slovenia. As a researcher, he collaborates with the Center for Legal Information Studies - Taranto Observatory, Italy and Pegaso University, Napoli, Italy and Pegaso International University Malta. He publishes in international scientific journals and focuses on the areas of economics, business, labor market, business finance, international finance, leadership and management, project management, education management, and financial literacy. He is involved in several Erasmus+ and Horizon projects, and also cooperates with the European Commission as an expert in the evaluation and monitoring of EU-funded projects and contracts. He is a member of several editorial boards of international scientific journals with an impact factor: Global Journal of Social Sciences Studies; Human Systems Management; International Journal of Innovation and Learning; International Journal of Management, Knowledge and Learning; International Journal of Value Chain Management.
