Biography
Jovana Mihajlović Trbovc is a researcher at the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU), Institute of Culture and Memory Studies. She has been awarded the 2015 Jean Blondel PhD Prize for the best thesis in politics issued by the European Consortium for Political Research. She has been publishing on the impact of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia on the post-Yugoslav states, as well as the reproduction of the historical narratives in the school textbooks. Her research focuses on intersection between transitional justice and memory politics, memory reproduction in media, memory activism, and history teaching.
