Biography
Dr. Alenka Kavčič Čolić – Holds a BA in Spanish Language and Literature, an MSc in Information Systems, and a PhD in Library and Information Science. Her main areas of expertise are digital preservation and digitisation. She is employed at the Research Department of the National and University Library, where she participates in national and international projects. Most recently, as part of the European project EODOPEN (607666-CREA-1-2019-1-AT-CULT-COOP2), she conducted research on optimal digitisation file formats to enhance OCR performance and ensure long-term digital preservation.
