Abstract
The input-output dynamic behavior of mechanical motion is characterized by structural uncertainties. The key parameters of the control plant change during the operation depending on load and friction. The aim of the project is to derive robust sliding mode and adaptive neural and fuzzy control algorithms and their implementation in special micro-controllers and/or transputer multiprocessor networks. Robust control algorithms with variable structure for AC servo motors with asynchronous and synchronous permanent magnet motors were derived and experimentaly tested. Theoretically derived control results were verified by experiments of nonlinear loads on multi-axis manipulators by direct drive servo motors. Position/force control algorithms for manipulators in joint and space coordinates were studied.
