Abstract
The project will identify knowledge clusters in Slovenia and explore to what extent metanational strategies and knowledge mabagement initiatives have been employed in the processes by which Western firms identify and tap into S&T competences in Slovenia and Slovene enterprises learn about markets and capabilities in the West. The main focus will be on the functioning of sensing/capturing nodes, and attractors/focal nodes at both sides of the process, as well as on ways and means of establishing an effective and efficient connection mechanisms leading to new sources of knowledge based competetive advantages.
