Abstract
In the proposed project biochemical and clinical effects of GnRH-antagonist shall be studied in patients in in vitro fertilization programme. Hormonal profile (estradiol, testosteron, androsteron) in ovarian stimulation with rec FSH shall be studied. In PCOD patient timing of prorenin, renin, inhibin A and B and EGF synthesis in ovarian follicles in relation to oocyte maturity shall be determined. In spontaneous cycles the role of IGFBP1, IGF1, EGF and inhibin A and B shall be studied.
