Abstract
Climatic changes (temperatures, precipitation regime, global changes) with other abiotic and biotic factors contribute in changed forest site conditions in Slovenia. Knowledge about mass flow and biomass accumulation in the forest ecosystems (process) represent the basis in recognising forest responses to those changes (model) as to study of carbon fluxes in forest ecosystems and outside forests/out of forests and research of suitability of certain management -actions connected to climatic changes.
