1.
Evidence-based clinical use of nanoscale extracellular vesicles in nanomedicine

Different aspects on the use of extracellular vesicles in medicine are considered.

2.
Multifunctional gadolinium-doped mesoporous TiO[sub]2 nanobeads

We constructed new material for diagnostics and therapy of cancer and showed the effect of this material on cancer cells. One of 10 best publications of the University of Ljubljana in 2017 according to the University of Ljubljana

COBISS.SI-ID: 30414375
3.
Effect of shear stress in the flow through the sampling needle on concentration of nanovesicles isolated from blood

Methods of isolation of extracellular vesicles from blood were considered. We found that shear forces that act in the process importantly influence concentration of extracellular vesicles in isolates.

4.
Applicability of extracellular vesicles in clinical studies

Metaanalysis of comparison of samples with methods based on extracellular vesicles was performed. We found that there are no reports of statistically and clinically relevant comparisons with populations larger than 50 samples.

Plyometric exercise improves jumping performance and skeletal muscle contractile properties in seniors

We investigated the effects of an 8-week plyometric training session on jump height, take-off velocity and contractile parameters in seniors. Explosive power and muscle contractility of the lower limbs were markedly improved after training.
