Transforming of Normal to Psychiatric; attempts and successes

The lecture touched newly developed trends in psychiatry. Due to aggressive approach of pharmaceutical companies, psychiatrists prescribe more and more drugs to children to avoid formerly unproblematic behaviour. Drugs are necessary only to easier follow increasing demands of educational system.

Small criminal legal systems: between reception and originality

The guest lecture was devoted to the peculiarities of small legal systems, such as Slovenian. Complications in reception of foreign legal solutions were discussed, as well as difficulties when developing original ones. Special attention has been paid to the legal institution of self-defence and its socioethical limitations, which cannot be deemed as pure legalistic matter, since they interfere with fundamental issues of social policy.
