Organic food in certified Slovene gastronomy - challenge for the future

Presentation of situation concerning organic food in Slovene gastronomy and possibilities/opportunities for improvement in their quality. Starting point is „green washing“ of Slovene tourism, gastronomy and agriculture and presented three possibilities for certification.

»Organic diet« as example of sustainable agriculture and sustainable food consumption

The organic food system as a living laboratory and key model for sustainable food systems was proposed and accepted by FAO as a sub programme of Sustainable food system programme (SFSP) where ”organic diet” will be used as innovative model for sustainable food production and consumption evaluated by several criteria.
