Care standards for spinal muscular atrophy is the family guide based on the recommendations of the International Standard of Care Committee for spinal muscular atrophy of the network TREAT-NMD, firstly translated to Slovene. The guide is useful for understanding the nature of disease and awareness of the pulmonary, gastrointestinal, nutritional, orthopaedics care, rehabilitation and palliative care; it makes communication with medical personnel easier and helps to plan activities related to the disease in advance.
