P2-0089 — Interim report
1.
Applied research for pharmaceutical industry

We developed and validated new method for determination of a nanoparticles’ size. The work was part of R&D in direct financing of Lek Pharmaceuticals d.d. (Sandoz), which was devoted to the drug based on iron oxyhydroxide nanoparticles. The method of nanoparticle-size determination is based on stereological analysis of the images recorded with a transmission electron microscope.
