Observation of [sup]4[sub][Lambda]H hyperhydrogen by decay-pion spectroscopy in electron scattering

In the framework of the kaon and hyperon physics program at the A1 collaboration (electron scattering) we have determined the cross-sections for the creation of the [sup]4[sub][Lambda]H hyperhydrogen by decay-pion spectroscopy

Measurement of the target-normal single-spin asymmetry in quasielastic scattering from the reaction [sup]3 He [sup][uparrow] (e,e [prime])

We have studied inclusive scattering of electrons on He3 nuclei, where the nuclei are polarized while the incoming electron beam is not. This kind of single-spin asymmetries is relevant for the understanding of the spin structure of He3.

Precision measurements of A[sub]1[sup]n in the deep inelastic regime

By using a polarized He3 target and polarized beam we have measured the double-polarization neutron asymmetry A1n in the deep inelastic regime, confirming the zero crossing of A1n in the vicinity of Bjorken x of about 0.5.

4.
Measurement of parity-violating asymmetry in electron-deuteron inelastic scattering

The parity-violating deep-inelastic asymmetries were used to extract the electron-quark weak effective couplings, and the resonance asymmetries provided the first evidence for quark-hadron duality in electroweak observables.

5.
Double spin asymmetries of inclusive hadron electroproduction from a transversely polarized [sup]3 He target

Asymmetries from the 3He target were observed to be nonzero for π± production when the target was polarized transversely in the horizontal plane. The π+ and π− asymmetries have opposite signs, analogous to the behavior of ALT in semi-inclusive deep-inelastic scattering.
