2.
Estimation of carbon dioxide flux degassing from percolating waters in a karst cave

Based on basic theory of H2O-CO2-CaCO3 equilibrium and chemical analyses of cave percolating water, a flux of CO2 degassing from percolating waters was estimated. This flux has been found to be one of the major sources of carbon dioxide in the cave atmosphere during low ventilation periods.

3.
Cave micro-climate and tourism

Basic historical milestones in touristic developments in Postojnska jama are discussed in relation to cave microclimatic conditions. New monitoring system is described and recent temperature measurements are compared to measurements in 1866 and in the period 1933-1937.
