8th annual meeting on Advanced Technologies in Treatment for Diabetes was organized in Paris, France from February 18 to 21. Co-organisers of the meeting that is attended by over 2000 physicians and other health-care professional from all over the world are Tadej Battelino in Moshe Phillip.
B.01 Organiser of a scientific meeting
Primoz Kotnik participated as an invited lecturer and discussant at the round table discussion organized by magazine “Medicina danes”. Importance of early determination of those children and adolescents at an increased risk of obesity complications was presented. Role of population specific biomarkers was acknowledged. During the round table discussion economic consequences of childhood obesity and diabetes were discussed.

In this invited lecture a systems medicine approach to diabetes and related disorders was discussed. Invited lecture was presented at the CASyM Workshop Endocrine, Metabolic and Digestive disorders: challenges and opportunities of a Systems Medicine approach.
