The results of the engineering of the microstructure and ferroelectric properties of BaTiO3 ceramics, prepared by the sintering of defined shape BaTiO3 particles were represented at the “Materials Science & Technology 2014” Conference, which took place from 12th to 16th of October 2014 in Pittsburgh-u in USA. We showed how the sintering regime and Ba/Ti ratio influenced the grain growth mechanisms and consequently the microstructure and the ferroelectric properties of sintered ceramics.
