Theory and automation of numerical modeling in mechanics of solids

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania every year invite the selected foreign professors to give lectures at universities in Lithuania. At the initiative of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University it was in 2015 of about 40 invited professors from around the world invited professor of the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering Joze Korelc. At the master's study civil engineering at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University in the period 4.10-16.10.2015 he lectured on computational modeling in solid mechanics for a total of 40 hours.

Insulating panel with the slots, the method for equalizing the vapor pressure and the process of assembly

The invention relates to the implementation of the contact insulation of façades system, containing specific thermal insulation plates with vapour equalization notches, with possibilities to equalize vapor pressure within the closed facade, and at the same time establish the surface of a steady flow of moisture through the outer structural assemblies. Problem is mainy presented in cases of façade layers which containa a lot of moisture (construction moisture by capillarity with peripheral walls, floor or rain water or other moisture) or when is continuation of façade works connected with lack of construction time and layers are not properly dried.

Execution of watertight penetrations in the external envelope of buildings

Waterproof sealings for piercing lines in the exterior building envelope The invention refers to waterproof sealings for piercing lines used in waterproof insulation systems on flat or pitched roofs, terraces and balconies. Waterproof piercing lines are made in a simple way by using a flange and a bituminous mixture, formed as a tape or a stick, which is melted by using a gas burner or a heat gun. Therefore a permanent elastic water impermeable piercing line is made, providing water impermeable passage of various installation lines, fixation systems, anchors, etc.
