Prize at the final of European competition "Emerging Technologies Showcase 2015"

The team from the Laboratory for Environmental Sciences and Engineering at the National Institute of Chemistry (Dr. Ilja Gasan Osojnik Črnivec, Dr. Petar Djinovič, Prof. Dr. Albin Pintar, Dr. Boštjan Erjavec) has for its innovation - a catalyst that allows the conversion of biodegradable waste into biofuels and other chemicals with high added value, in the final of European competition "Emerging Technologies Showcase 2015" organized annually by the Royal Society of Chemistry, won an excellent third place.
