Membership in international and national editorial boards

Two members of PG (M. Virant Doberlet in B. Kryštufek) are in seven editorial boards of journals with IF, two of them in 1st and 2nd quartil (COBISS-ID 3144463, COBISS.SI-ID 2607642). Four more members of PG are members of editorial boards of national journals (A. Čokl, A. Vrezec, N. Mori, T. Triler – detals in their personal bibliography). All together they were members of 25 journals.

Rarity of the natural species can came in different ways. Some of the most common ones were presented with birds and short texts. Three more members of PG (A. Vrezec, B. Kryštufek, T. Trilar) also participated on additional exhibitions orgased by Natural History Museum Slovenia (detals in their personal bibliography).

Partitioning of groundwater fauna between shallow and deep layers of porous aquifers

On the conference with about 150 participants were presented results of one-year sampling of water and groundwater fauna from wells for water supply of Ljubljana. The wells are on the southern part of Ljubljansko barje (Slovenia). Results clearly indicated partitioning of groundwater fauna in relation to the water quality.

Woices of the worlds

Three interviews on Slovenian national radio (»Communications in insects« [COBIS ID 31364313], Bumbles [COBIS ID 31530713], »Solitary beees« [COBIS ID 31531225]) and one on TV Slovenia (»Good hour with Boštjanom – About the bees« [COBIS ID 31174873]). Communication strategies among different insects and biology of bumblebees and solitary bees were presented. Presentation of the results of their scientific work had eight more members of the PG (A. Brancelj, A. Čokl, A. Žunič Kosi, M. Zorovič, M. Virant Doberlet, T. Trilar, A. Vrezec, D. Tome) and references are indicated in their bibliography in the COBIS. All together they participated in 14 broadcasts.
