Invited lecture at the workshop "The comparability of measurement in the field of wastewaters", National Institute of Chemistry, Ljubljana, 01.30.2013, Ljubljana. The presentation comprehended a synthesis process for the preparation of catalysts based on titanate nanotubes, characterization methods for examination of structural, morphological and surface properties of the active particles and catalytic wet air oxidation process, which was applied to study the removal of endocrine disrupting chemical bisphenol A from contaminated water samples in the presence of synthesized catalysts.

COBISS.SI-ID: 5177626Invited lecture at the conference "Advanced Porous Materials Workshop 2013 (APMW-2013)". The lecture was based on environmental processes, such as catalytic wet air oxidation (CWAO), photocatalytic oxidation, etc. that rely on solid catalyst that oxidizes organic pollutants to final products (CO2 and H2O). Furthermore, a newly developed catalysts based on titanate nanotubes, which have proven to be extremely efficient and environmentally friendly in cleaning water samples contaminated with endocrine disrupting chemical (BPA) in the continuous flow trickle-bed reactor.
