Bioreactor system for continous production of bacteriophages

We developed a bioreactor system for continuous production of bacteriophages. The system is assembled from connected mixing and tube reactor. In the mixing part we are growing bacteria which are infected with bacteriophages while being transferred to tube reactor. In the tube reactor bacteriophages multiply.

Oxigen increase in bioprocess medium as a measure for campylobacter bacteriophage production ending

Finding about oxigen increase in medium during campylobacter multiplication were used as a measure for process ending. Invention was protected with a patent.

Campylobacter bacteriophage characterisation, production and application in model systems

We reported about bacteriophage isolation, production and use of purified bacteriophages in Caco2 model. Bacteriophages lowered the Campylobacter load, but after 24 hours bacteria started to increase again.
