The article brings comparison of population census data in Hungary in the years 2001 and 2011 with focus on demographic history of Slovenes in Hungary (In Železna županija in the area of autochthonous settlement and in towns – outside autochthonous settlement). Collected and presented are questions and dilemmas within Slovene community after the publication of the 2011 census.
