The members of programme group participated in organisation of International Conference "Molecules of Life" under the auspices of European Federation of Biochemical Societies FEBS, which was ongoing in September 2015 in Portorož. The head of the programme group was a president of the Scientific Committee and editor of the conference monography.

In doctoral thesis dr. Urša Pečar Fonović applied inhibitors - derivatives of nitroxoline to study the impact of cathepsins on activity of tumour supresor protein profilin 1.
