2.
The impact of selective inhibition of cathepsin B in tumour cells on the degradation of extracellular matrix and tumour invasion.

In the master thesis Ana Mitrović evaluated the impact of derivatives of nitroxoline, which selectively inhibit exo- and endopeptidase activity of cathepsin B, with regard to degradation of extarcellular matrix and tumour cell invasiveness in 2D and 3D models. She proved that the inhibitors, impairing endopeptidase activity, are more effective in these processes.
