Dielectric properties of the solution-derived Ba[sub](0.5)Sr[sub](0.5)TiO[sub]3 thin films

The combined effectes of grain size, film thickness and biaxial strain on dielectric properties of thin films was explained. The researcher obtained the first award for the oral contribution in the section of Young researchers.

Within the visit at Pennsylvania State University the project leader presented the project results. She focused on the realitonship between the design of microstructure of thin films and their kHz and GHz dielectric proeprties.

Ferroelectric materials in microwave devices

The contribution on application of ferroelectrics in microwave devices was presented at the professional seminar Radio communications. This central Slovenian event gathers about 100 experts on telecommunications and it enables transfer of expertise between academia and industry.
