New generation of composite electrodes for lithium-sulphur batteries

Dr. Manu U.M. Patel, doctoral student of University of Ljubljana has been working on the study of the mechanisms in the lithium sulphur batteries. His contributions to this field are two completely new analytical tools which are enabling to monitor conversion of sulphur to Li2S during the discharge. Both in-situ characterization techniques are based on the spectroscopic methods.
