Leading of the Center of Magnetic measurements (CMag)

Members of the programme group are managing the CMag laboratory that bind several leading Slovenian institutions in the field of solid state physics. Experimental work in the lab is ongoing 24 h per day.

Modelling of plowing force with neural network

Physics student Martin Kraner under the supervision of Prof. Zidanšek developed a neuron network based model of plowing forces within his B.Sc. diploma work in cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences and with users, both the farmers and the plow manufacturer. He demonstrated good agreement of the model with measured data from literature and enrolled in doctoral studies from this field. The members of program group participated in 2015 in 5 diploma's or master degree's works.
