In this article we have shown the two major Louis Althusser's theoretical epochs, the structuralist (epistemological) and the late materialist or ontological (the aleatory materialism) through the prismof the parallax view on one and the same object, the void. We have shown that this object has the structure of the division or the cut, the minimal difference.
