1.
Hemocompatible vascular implants - the plasma perspective

The head of the project was a guest lecturer on the international vacuum conference. In the lecture the results on plasma treatment of polymeric materials for cardiovascular applications were presented. The method for surface modification of surfaces was presented together with the effects on the surface chemistry. In the lecture also effects of surface modification on the in vitro hemocomaptible properties was presented.

3.
Plasma treatment of polymer vascular implants based on biodegradable polymers including polyactide

In the lecture methods for improving hemocompatibility of polymeric vascular implants with plasma modification techniques were presented. Techniques for in vitro hemocompatibility tests were also presented together with analysing techniques that are used for determining changes in surface properties of polymeric materials.
