As vice-president of the Organising committee I have participated in the organization of the 4th Slovenian Photovoltaic Conference. Main topics of the SLO-PV 2012: 1. global trends in photovoltaics in the fields of research, industry and market, 2. research and development of PV in Slovenia, 3. challenges and obstacles of connecting solar panels to the grid 4. PV systems in Slovenia and an exhibition of Slovenian PV companies.
B.01 Organiser of a scientific meeting
Newly developed TiO2 paste, which enables the preparation of TiO2 layer at low temperature (below 250 ºC) has been presented. A TiO2 paste based on commercial TiO2 nanopowder (Degussa, P25) and a low-temperature sol-gel matrix has been successfully developed by mixing Ti-isopropoxide and hydrogen peroxide forming complexing gel called peroxotitanic acid (PTA). Two routes have been explored to study the decomposition/transformation of the additives (PTA) in the printed TiO2 layer: annealing at low temperature (from 25 to 250 ºC) and/or treating with oxygen plasma. Newly developed TiO2 matrix/paste as well as the differences in TiO2 layer structure upon the different treatments of the as-deposited layers has been thoroughly characterized.
