Properties of relaxor-ferroelectric PMN-PT and PSN-PT thick films and bulk ceramics

At an invited lecture at a foreign university, we have discussed the preparation and properties of PMN-PT and PSN-PT thick films on Al2O3 substrate. The lecture was concluded with an example of application of thick films in sensors and actuators.

Processing and properties of PMN-PT, PZT and PSN-PT thick films on alumina substrates

At a conference we have discussed the preparation and properties of PMN-PT, PZT and PSN-PT thick films on different substrates: alumina, Pt, MgO, AlN, PMN-PT. In addition also the thick film application in sensors and actuators were discussed.

Structural and electrical properties of Pb(Sc0.5Nb0.5)O3 and 0.57Pb (Sc0.5Nb0.5)O3-0.43PbTiO3 ceramics prepared by mechanochemical activation

On this conference our work on Pb(Sc0.5Nb0.5)O3 and 0.57Pb (Sc0.5Nb0.5)O3-0.43PbTiO3 ceramics prepared from a mechanochemically activated powder was presented. Very good functional properties were discussed in correlation with structural and microstructural properties of ceramics.

Low temperature processing of Pb(Sc0.5Nb0.5)O3 ceramics

Good quality Pb(Sc0.5Nb0.5)O3 (PSN) ceramics was prepared from a mechanochemically activated powder. We sintered the ceramics at 1000°C, which is a few hundred degrees lower than the previously reporteddata for the sintering temperature of PSN ceramics. At a temperature of 1000 °C we were able to obtain PSN ceramics with 98 % of theoretical density, which showed good dielectric and ferroelectric properties.

On this conference a systematic study of the influence of the sintering conditions on the structural and electrical properties of Pb(Sc0.5Nb0.5)O3 and 0.57Pb(Sc0.5Nb0.5)O30.43PbTiO3 ceramics prepared from mechanochemically activated powder were discussed.
