1.
Method for control of neutral O atom densities in oxygen plasma by movable active element

In this conference contribution we report results on optimization of plasma parameters in terms of adjustable O atom density which interact with multilayer grapheme structures causing etching and functionalization

Preparation of non-adhesive materials to prevent bacteria proliferation

An important property of any technique for modification of heart valves is anti-bacterial behavior. This phenomenon has been addressed for the case of our multilayer grapheme samples and results are encouraging.

Plasma modification of titanium for repulsion of blood platelets

Heart valves often consist of mechanical parts made from pure titanium. In order to obtain information on antithrombogenic properties of this material we performed treatment by oxygen plasma and obtained promising results.
