Archaeobotany

Invited lecture about archaeobotany and the possibilities of the progress of this science in Slovenia was presented to slovenian archaeologists. More than an hour lasting lecture firstly presented archaeobotanical work (including sampling, storing, wet sieving, subsampling, sorting and identifying) and its research potential. Secondly some examples, good ones and bad ones, were presented. The lecture concluded with an overview of what natural sciences require from archaeologists to improve their interpretations.
