On the national forum of invovations our service qualified for exposition. Our innovation is a service which validly, objectively and reliably evaluates neuromuscular functions of the lower torso, and on the basis of obtained results formulates scientifically grounded prevention and/or therapeutic measures. Such a service is extremely important for the good-quality and objective treatment of people with back pain.

The topic of the broadcast was the pain and the project was presented in context of low back pain with presentation of main researches conducted in the project. The emphasis was on research of effects of different occupational demands on neuromuscular functions of the trunk that was conducted in collaboration with Luka Koper.

COBISS.SI-ID: 1536302020The publication on costs of brain disorders in Slovenia is part of the »For the brain« campaign which involves neuroscience advocacy and brain disorders awareness activities. The campaign is organised by the Slovenian Brain Council and SiNAPSA, Slovenian Neuroscience Association, and is joining the world-wide and Europe-wide initiatives that highlight the importance of healthy brain and impact of brain diseases in the society. The campaign is presented at www.za-mozgane.si. We have received support for the action from around 2000 individuals and around 30 professional and patient societies, as well as from most of the Slovenian members of the EU parliament and the president of the Republic of Slovenia. The campaign was presented in numerous media publications.
