Towards large-scale plasma-assisted synthesis of nanowires

In order to bring nanotechnology to everyday use and multiple devices we need to overcome the problem of large-scale nanowire synthesis in bulk quantities. In this respect, we need several kilograms of nanowires per day, and plasma technology is the only route which can meet at the moment such requirements. The problems which we have to address are described in the case of iron and zinc oxide nanowire synthesis.
