The grain-boundary diffusion process in Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets based on the electrophoretic deposition of DyF3

We successfully used the electrophoretic deposition as a method to effectively coat the surface of a Nd-Fe-B sintered magnet with DyF3 powder and achieve 30 % higher coercivities with optimized amount of using expensive heavy rare earth.

Microstructural and compositional characterization of terbium-doped Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets

We have successfully implemented the advanced, improved methods of high-resolution scanning electron microscopy (FEGSEM) and energy-dispersive and wavelength-dispersive X-ray spectroscopies (EDS, WDS) for the materials characterization on submicrometer and nanometer-scale and used them in characterization of Tb-doped NdFeB sintered permanent magnets.

Electrochemical synthesis and characterization of Fe[sub](70)Pd[sub](30) for drug delivery

Nano dimension intermetallic hardmagentic systems of Fe-Pd and Co-Pt were electrodeposited and investigated due to their magnetic shape memory effect-MSM (Fe70Pd30) and due to its potential to be used in perpendicular recording (Co-Pt). Since the MSM is composition sensitive, the electrochemical kinetic study of Fe-Pd deposition was done on flat and porous templates.
