History of Thought About Language in Slovenia (1600-1758)

The study aims to present the development and state of grammar-writing, language use and linguistic thought in the Roman Catholic period of the Slovenian language (1600–1758). The central part of the book surveys the contemporary grammar books. Some results of this study were made within the project.

Spelling Product Names and Brand Names

The article examines the currently existing codified orthographic norms about product names and brand names with reflection to past norms in slovene normative guides. In Slovene, these names cause dilemmas in capitalization and in the spelling of those object names whose adaptation is modelled on a foreign language.
