ESF Forward Look on “Media Studies – New Media and New Literacies” Final Conference, Ljubljana, 24-25 January 2013

The Final Conference of the ESF Forward Look on “Media Studies – New Media and New Literacies” followed closely on four thematic workshops in 2012 which were devoted to defining challenges in key areas of research in media studies. At the Final Conference, the draft Final Report of the activity was presented and discussed with a broad audience of stakeholders in media and communications research. The Conference brought together over 50 researchers, policy-makers, practitioners and other stakeholders to discuss the conclusions reached within the Forward Look, to agree upon precise and realistic recommendations and to plan for their implementation.
