Care for older people between state and family: evaluation of home care services in Slovenia.

In this paper evaluation of financial efficiency of home care services with regards to financial input of state, municipality and individuals is presented. Large variations across municipalities are found out which can only partially be explained by characteristics of municipalities.

Welfare in three decades odf social change in Slovenia

The paper observes developments in articulation of welfare during last three decades in Slovenia. An overview of literature is provided, showing that the institutional and normative structures of pulbic policies in the welfare domain has not yet witnessed substantial efforts for further democratisation and support to community networks.
