The invited workshop introduced several experiments appropriate for teaching liquid crystals. Participants were active and have performed experiments by themselves. The workshop was extremely well accepted, several participants established contacts with the authors of the workshop and have tested some of the experiments also with their students.

COBISS.SI-ID: 8879433Workshops on teaching liquid crystals accompanied by simple experiments have been noted in several groups being actively involved in development of teaching methods for physics. Due to that reason, the workshop was invited to the meeting of physics teachers in Niš, Serbia.
