In 2013 dr. Hrvoje Petković held an invited lecture at one of the most important congresses in the field of industrial microbiology “Genetics of Industrial Microorganisms - GIM-2013, which gathers most prominent academic researchers from this field as well as most important companies in the field of biotechnology. In his lecture dr. Petković presented new results in the field of FK506 biosynthesis, focusing on supply of different substrates. In the scope of the lecture, partially results of this project related to recombination mechanisms were also presented.
