Prof. Gregor Serša is editor-in-chief of international journal Radiology and Oncology. Radiology and Oncology is a multidisciplinary journal promoting Slovenian and international research in the field of radiology and oncology internationally. Quality of the journal is improving every year. The journal is included in ''SCOPUS'', ''Web of Science'' and ''PubMed'' databases. In 2011, the journal recieved an impact factor.

COBISS.SI-ID: 32649472Prof. Gregor Serša was a superviosr of PhD thesis of young research fellow Sara Prijič. In 2012, Sara Prijič successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled The use of superparamagnetic nanoparticles for magnetofection of reporter and therapeutic genes into cells, muscles and experimental tumors of mice. The main topic of her thesis was preparation of superparamagnetic nanoparticles of iron oxide, coated and functionalized with endosomolytic polymers, polyacrylic acis and polyetilenimin and determination of magnetofection efficacy and antitumour effect of nanoparticles with either reporter or therapeutic genes.
