1.
Probing liquid crystal elastomers with light

In the talk the measurements of the material parameters of liquid crystal elastomers (LCE) by dynamic light scattering were presented. In light-sensitive LCE the properties were obtained by measurements of the diffraction efficiency of holographically recorded periodic modulation of the refractive index by UV light.
