Slovenian National Population Based Colorectal Cancer Screening pProgram – Program Svit

The aim of the Svit program is to reduce mortality due to colorectal cancer and to secure good quality of life of the successfully treated patients. Discovering disease in its early latent stages provides very good chances for complete recovery, detection of pre-malignant polyps can even prevent the progression to cancer.
