Assistive technology and Ethics

When using assistive technology privacy, autonomy, integrity, dignity and reliability should be respected. An individual shall be able to control access to his/her personal information and to protect his/her own space. An individual has the right to decide how and to what purposes he/she is using technology. Individuals shall be respected and technical solutions shall not violate their dignity as human beings. Technical solutions shall be sufficiently reliable for the purposes that they are being used for. Technology shall not threat user's physical or mental health.

4th SLOVENIAN CONGRESS OF PHYSICAL AND REHABILITATION MEDICINE

Topics of the congress included novelties in the field of rehabilitation of neurological patients, (re)habilitation of children, rehabilitation after injuries of the musculoskeletal system, after sports injuries, rehabilitation of patients with rheumatic diseases and patients with degenerative disorders. Besides local lecturers there were also invited speakers from abroad at the congress.
