Winning the NASA Green Flight Challenge 2011

The team of Pipistrel company won the NASA Green Flight Challenge sponsored by Google 2011 competition. It won by creating the world's first four seater electric aircraft that was both the fastest as well as the energetically most efficient in the competition. Gregor Veble developed the aerodynamics of the aircraft, Vid Plevnik developed the structural concept of the aircraft.
