Controlling access to content distribution channel in P2P networks is one of the crucial security requirements. The result presents efficient access control mechanism in BitTorrent systems. Access control decision can be made at every peer, based on information exchanged in newly proposed protocol. The protocol uses cryptographic mechanisms for strong security provisioning in distributed system.
