Hydrogen and deuterium interaction with ITER-relevant metals

Major part of the work done (until then) within the current project has been presented: deuterium retention on ITER-grade AISI316 and Be (bulk) was determined by infussion/outgassing method (method 2). In addition to this, preliminary results and analysis of hydrogen permeation measurements through /Eurofer in W/Eurofer membranes were given.

Evaluation of various thin films as a hydrogen permeation barrier

We reported on the experimental setup used for hydrogen permeation measurements, theoretical backgrounds for hydrogen permeation models and results of permeation measurements through TiAlN and Be films on Eurofer substrate.
