We reviewed the concepts of electropermeabilization pulse generation which are used to design prototype and commercial electropermeabilization devices. We presented their advantages and disadvantages and most appropriate applications. The review will help researchers to select the most appropriate prototype or commercial electropermeabilization device for their application.
